How to Repair iPhone Screen Quickest and Cheapest Way

Apple iPhone Cracked Screen

You are enjoying your iPhone and all of the sudden you accidentally drop it.

The pain you feel when you see your phone screen cracked.

You don’t need to worry much about it because I will tell you how to repair iPhone screen easily without spending a fortune.

If in any case, you might have AppleCare+, you are very lucky because Apple will fix your iPhone with cheaper charge.

However, if you don’t have AppleCare+, you might consider:

1. Still going to Apple but pay more for repair
2. Take it to any local shop which is able to do it for you for less price
3. Buy parts and replace the screen yourself

If you have decided to take your phone to Apple, a price will depend on your iPhone model.

The older iPhone you have, the less it will cost you to fix your screen at Apple store.

For example, Apple charges somewhere $109 for a screen replacement on iPhone 6.

However, if the problem isn’t only the screen – for example, iPhone’s frame could have been bent as well – then Apple charges somewhere around $299.

Cracked iPhone Screen

My advice is if you have AppleCare+ go for the Apple and they will take care of your phone for less price and you won’t need to worry about anything.

I wouldn’t go for retail shops which fix phones because you could do that yourself for less money, so there is no point of paying someone to do it for you. Also, I don’t like the idea of leaving your phone with personal data and information in some retail shop, without knowing who is handling my phone and what the hell are they doing with it.

Last but maybe the cheapest and quickest option is doing it yourself.

Replacing iPhone screen isn’t a complicated process, and you could learn how to do it easily online. You would only need to pay for the parts, which you can find online as well, and as soon as they arrive – you are ready to start.

This is an easy and cheap solution.

How to Do it Yourself

First, you need to determinate did you damage only your screen (glass layer of yourCracked iPhone Screen phone), or you have damaged it deeper (display of your phone).

If the display is damaged, colors would be messed up or some part of your screen wouldn’t show anything but blank.

Screen damage is visible, it will be cracked but you will still be able to use your phone.

That’s how you will know if you only need to buy screen or screen but also display.

The second step is to find the parts online, simply by searching your iPhone model screen on eBay or Amazon.

You will find the screen for your iPhone but also you will get tools necessary to do it yourself.

To save your time, I’ve found you the parts at Amazon.com for the best price.

I have searched for iPhone 6 screen repair tool, but you can find it for any iPhone model you have.

The third step is to watch tutorials, and learn how to do it while you are waiting for your parts to arrive.

The process is not complicated. You will learn it by watching few videos.

Removing the screen and replacing it with a new one is a simple process and there isn’t much to screw up if you follow the instructions.

Most of the people think it is a very complicated process, but if you are curious and if you just look it up, you will see how simple it is.

Good luck

Now when you know everything, take your time and choose how you want to do it.

Doing it by yourself is the cheapest and the quickest solution, but also you don’t need to be an engineer to do it. It’s a simple process and if you follow it, you will be great.

Doing it by yourself will be the cheapest option, and if you feel skilled enough to do it, all you need are the repair parts and some time.

However, if you feel you aren’t able to do it yourself, you can still choose to bring it to Apple or call in-home services like Puls, iCracked and let them fix it for you.

I hope I have helped you with this post, I wish you good luck and I hope you won’t deal with cracked screen ever again!

Thanks for solving my issue here. Just about last month, I’ve had my iphone screen stretching from the bottom to the top after dropping to the floor from the table. I really had no idea of what to do and after asking for a repair which is obviously quite costly, I decided not to mend the crack. Right now, I’m kind of relieved as there is a solution to it and there is really no need to wait for the replacement of the partly damaged phone.
